Kick Off the Holiday With the Greening of the Fountains
St. Patrick’s Day in Savannah begins with a favorite tradition: the dyeing of the fountains! The first to get “greenified” is the fountain at Forsyth Park. Earlier in the month, the Parade Grand Marshal dyes the water in a fun ceremony. From there, the fountains around town herald the upcoming festival with water as green as an Irish clover! During your stay, take a picture with as many of these fountains as you can.
