SCAD Sand Arts Festival
Head to Tybee Beach to view exhibits worthy of a museum during the SCAD Sand Arts Festival. See amazing works by students, alumni, staff, and faculty – all created from sand! Competitions are held for best sand castle design, sand sculpture, sand relief and wind sculpture categories. Don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch, plenty of water, sunglasses and beach gear. This event is presented by the SCAD School of Foundation Studies, and is free and open to the public.
SCAD Savannah Film Festival

SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival
Join us for one of the most exciting weekends of the year in Forsyth Park for the SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival! The event is held every spring during SCAD Family & Alumni Weekend. The community waits eagerly each year in anticipation. Watch students and alumni create works of art using only sidewalk chalk! Participants decorate the scenic park with vibrant murals and splashes of color. You’ll find masterpieces that depict various styles, interests, and cultures. This is one event you can’t miss.
