Scroll to start your adventure and explore our surrounding area…

Jones Street
Often referred to as one of the prettiest streets in Savannah, if not all of America, Jones Street is an iconic Georgia landmark and certainly well worth a visit as it’s only a few blocks over from the inn. Gorgeous green trees hang out over the street, providing welcome shade and giving it a more intimate vibe, while moss and vines cover some of the older architecture. A Mid-19th century style gives the street a unique feel with cobblestone streets, brick sidewalks, and houses from a different time in the city’s history. It’s the perfect place for a romantic stroll or historical tour, so take your time here and soak in the ambiance. Visiting it is like taking a step back into the past, and evenings can be especially beautiful as the street is warmly lit by gas-flame lanterns.

Broughton Street
You’re in for an exciting time on Broughton Street, your one-stop destination for everything Savannah that’s just a short walk or trolley ride away. This street has some of the best shopping the city has to offer with both local and national retailers including H&M, Kate Spade, Urban Outfitters, and more. Browse upscale boutiques, art galleries, and local shops like the famous Paris Market, a store selling restored vintage treasures along with one-of-a-kind exclusive items made just for them. Grab a sweet treat at Leopold’s, a famous landmark that is regarded as the top spot for ice cream, not just in Savannah, but in all of Georgia! They’ve been in operation for over a century and still serve up rich old-fashioned ice cream, just the ticket on a hot Savannah afternoon.

River Street
The aptly named River Street is situated right on the Savannah River and is a 10 min walk or short trolley ride away from the inn. It is well-known for its distinct charm with shops, galleries, restaurants, and other sites of interest all along the water’s edge. One of the most exciting activities takes place on the Georgia Queen, an unmistakable bright red and white riverboat with outings hosted by Savannah Riverboat Cruises. They offer all sorts of excursions, including both day and night cruises as well as dinner, sightseeing, and even special holiday cruises if you’re in town during that time of year. Go for a stroll along the river walk and take in gorgeous views of the water, shop till you drop at some of the area’s finest boutiques, and indulge in authentic southern cuisine at restaurants like The Cotton Exchange Tavern. Housed in what used to be a cotton warehouse, a remnant of the area’s industrial past, they serve up delicious southern-style fare in a comfy atmosphere with refreshing cocktails.
